vinyl mastering is a science, craft and art. many digitally prepared tracks are not really Suited for vinyl. dr. dub works analogous. your tracks are not simply processed with a supermaximizer plugin, but with fine eq's, classic compressors and nice limiting devices.
mastering steps which we are generally recommended:
- gentle dynamic processing
- de-essing
general rule:
we do not do "brutaloweareloudashell" master tracks, but classic analog mastering to make your tracks sound good. if you want to sound like metallica, go elswhere.
